Concrete Floor Grinding

Concrete floor grinding is the ultimate surface preparation process using various metal and diamond blades. Commercial grade diamonds are impregnated into hardened steel discs which are mounted onto the bottom of large, powerful machines that smoothly, and with almost no dust, prepare the concrete surface for any coatings. A Diamond Floor Grinder is designed to leave a very smooth concrete profile by removing minor divots, roughness, pits, and contaminants from the concrete surface. Once professionally ground, the concrete surface profile is ideally porous for thin film coating applications, sealers, stains, densifying, and polishing. This process is also designed to level uneven floors, as well as concrete joints and crack edges. Blades can be changed out and special coating & mastic removal blades inserted into steel discs, in order to remove adhesive, thick film elastomeric coatings, epoxies, urethanes, and even VCTs.
